I am currently designing and building sets for Crate & Barrel, CB2 and Crate & Kids in their marketing photo studio. Previously after graduating from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I moved to the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Croix to pursue a passion for scuba diving and underwater photography. I worked my way up from certified diver to a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer. While seeking out seahorses, teaching Scuba lessons for peanuts and foraging for mangos after work in my early 20’s I had a nagging feeling I was supposed to be closer to home and to be honest I sort of missed the brutal character-building winters of the midwest. I’ve been back in Chicago for almost 5 years now!  When I’m not working, I’m riding my bike, baking bundt cakes or sailing on Lake Michigan. My crew and I compete in the annual Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac. It is the longest distance and longest-running freshwater sailing race in the world. We placed 3rd in our section in 2016 and 2018.
